Cuckold Payback After an Unexpected Birthday Gift

For three birthdays in a row, Daniel had handed Claire the same thing, a gift card and a rushed kiss on his way out the door. So when his own fortieth arrived, she decided he deserved something unforgettable. Months earlier, over a second bottle of wine, he had confessed a fantasy he could never say sober. He wanted to watch her with another man. She had laughed then, but she never forgot the way his voice trembled when he said it.

The evening began innocently enough with dinner at their favorite restaurant, candlelight, and Claire in a black dress he had never seen before. Back at home she sat him in the leather armchair facing their bed and pressed a ribbon tied card into his hand. Inside she had written only three words. Happy birthday, darling. A moment later the doorbell rang, and Marcus walked in, tall and composed, a man Claire had met through an adult dating group and spoken with for weeks to be sure everyone wanted the same night.

Daniel opened his mouth, then closed it again as Claire looked back at him and asked if he wanted her to stop. He shook his head slowly, eyes bright with nerves and hunger. She smiled, sweet and wicked at once, and told him this was payback for every forgotten anniversary and every gift card. Then she turned to Marcus and let him unzip the dress.

What followed was slow and deliberate. Claire made sure her husband saw every touch, every shiver, every soft sigh. Now and then she glanced over to hold his gaze and remind him who had arranged all of it. Daniel gripped the arms of the chair, torn between jealousy and a thrill deeper than anything he had ever felt.

Long after Marcus had gone, Claire curled up beside her husband and traced lazy circles on his chest. He whispered that it was the best gift of his life. She laughed and promised that next year he would be the one planning her surprise.
