Office Sex After the Second Interview for the Assistant Job
Office sex simmers when a personal assistant interview turns into a second meeting full of lingering glances, loosened ties and a locked door.
Claire Whitmore arrived twenty minutes early for the interview, smoothing her charcoal skirt in the glass elevator as the city fell away beneath her. The firm occupied the top floor, all polished oak and quiet ambition, and when the receptionist led her into the corner office, she found Daniel Hale standing by the window with the evening light behind him. He was a confident man in his forties, sleeves rolled to the elbow, and his handshake lingered just long enough to make her pulse skip.
The questions began professionally enough. He asked about her experience, her goals, the way she handled pressure. Yet each answer drew him closer, until he was leaning against the edge of the desk beside her chair, his voice lower now. Tell me what you really want, he said, and she understood he was no longer asking about the position. Claire rose to meet his gaze and told him plainly. She wanted him, tonight, before either of them could think better of it.
He locked the door with deliberate calm. When he kissed her, it was slow and searching, his hands tracing the curve of her waist as she loosened his tie. Papers slid to the floor as he lifted her onto the desk, and the cool wood against her thighs made her gasp. Every touch asked permission and every sigh gave it, the two of them moving together in the hushed glow of the empty office until the city lights blurred beyond the glass.
Afterward they laughed softly, straightening clothes and gathering scattered pages. Daniel handed back her résumé with a crooked smile. You start Monday, he said, and we will keep this between two consenting adults who know exactly what they want. Claire walked to the elevator feeling taller than when she arrived, already counting the hours until their next late meeting.
